George Washington Linam was born December 27, 1820 in Union District, South Carolina and died August 30,1855 in Lawrence county, Tennessee. He married Rachel Powers on August 11, 142 in Lauderdale county, Alabama. She was born September 25, 1812 in South Carolina and died 1882 in Lawrence county, Tennessee. They had 3 children
