The Earlies Known Hill was James Henry Hill born March 10, 1830 in DeKalb county, Georgia and died December 29, 1913. He married three times. Permelia Berry, Rebecca Scott Gilbert and Matilda Chapman. It is said that his father was Stephen Hill possibly born in Ireland however i have found no census record for a Stephen Hill in the right locations. Will have to look some more.
