James Wilson Sr. was born 1754 in Augusta County, Virginia and died March 1793 in Sevier county, Tennessee. He married Elizabeth Dixon in Washington county, North Carolina. She was born 1766. James was killed by Indians near Pigeon River, Tennessee. They had 3 children
1. Catherine Wilson married John Shook on August 7, 1816 in Knox county, Tennessee
2. James Wilson Jr., Nothing more is known
3. Jean Wilson was born 1792 and died 1860. She married William Bringham
