Postmaster at Vanoss Passes
Charles L. Berger, 61, postmaster at Vanoss for 25 years, died Monday evening at 7 o'clock in the home of his daughter Mrs. Sammie Wood, 508 south Rennie in Ada.
Funeral services are to be conducted by the Masonic lodge of Ada at the Baptist church in Vanoss at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Keith Woods of Allen will deliver funeral address.
Berger is survived by his widow Mrs. Ida Berger of Vanoss; five sons, Christian of Vanoss, Maureen of Vanoss, Calvin of Vanoss, William of Oklahoma City and C. L. Jr of Ada; fieve daughters, Mrs. Wood of Ada, Wilma Ja Berger of Vanoss, Yetta Berger of Holdenville, Mrs. Annabelle Phillips of Vanoss and Christine Berger of Wewoka. Survivors include also 12 grandchildren
Burial is to be in Midland Cemetery at Vanoss
