Ida Lee Berger Services for Mrs. Ida Lee Berger, 504 West 2nd, were at 4 p.m. Wednsday in Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. David Hause conducted the rites;grandsons were casketbearers. Burial was in Midland Cemetery. Mrs. Berger died Monday afternoon in a local hospital. She was 81 Sept 12 and had undergone hip surgery Oct. 24 She was born in Titus county, Texas to Mr. and Mrs J. A. Hill and came to Indian Territory at the age of 11. She and Charles L. Berger were married Nov. 16,1902. They settled in Old Midland community and later moved to "new town" near Vanoss. There he was postmaster until his death in 1940. Mrs. Berger had lived in Ada the past several years. She is survived by four sons, Christian, Vanoss, William, Maurine and Calvin, all of Vuntura, Calf; five daughters Mrs. Yetta Catterton Alameda, Calf; Mrs. Christin Dacon and Mrs. Wilma Foster both of Oklahoma City and Mrs Ann Phillips and Mrs. Beulah Wood, both of Ada; a Brother, W. B. Hill, Sulphur and many grandchildren
