ODEN
Leonard Oden, 58, of Jonesboro Route 7, died at his home Monday afternoon. Born in Arkansas, he lived most of his life around Jonesboro. He was a mechanic and was owner and operator of Oden's Gargae. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Wanda Oden of the home; his mother Mrs. Elsie Ahlemeier of Jonesboro; his step-mother Mrs. Vera Davis of Denton, Texas; three sons Gary Oden of Mountain Home, Randy Oden of Jonesboro, and Kevin Oden of the home; one daughter Mrs. Sandra George of Jonesboro; two step-sons Gaylon Ratliff of North Little Rock and Russell Ratliff of El Dorado; one step-daughter Miss Carol Ratliff of the home; one sister Miss Helen Oden of Jonesboro; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 Wednesday morning at Farmers Union Funeral Home chapel with Arthur Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow in Herndon Cemetery under the direction of Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
