Funeral services will be this afternoon at 2 in the Gregg Funeral Home chapel in Jonesboro for Leroy Cook,68, of Jonesboro, who died Sunday at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center. Rev. Roger Haney will be officiating. burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.
He had lived in Jonesboro much of his life and was a retired farmer and carpenter. He was also a Baptist.
Survivors include five sons, Gerald Cook, Roy Cook, and Danny Cook all of Jonesboro, Steve Cook of Bono and Brad Cook of Newport; two daughters, Linda Henry of Oxford and Diane Russom of Jonesboro; one sister Helen Minton of Jonesboro; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Gerald Cook, Roy Cook, Danny Cook, Steve Cook, Brad cook and Paul Russom.
Grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
