W. S. Lindley Passes Today
Pioneer Farmer of North of Jonesboro Hears Final Call
W. S. Lindley, 91, pioneer farmer of Craighead county and resident of the Shiloh community, north of the city, passed away this moring at eleven o'clock at his home. Death was due to the infirmities of old age.
Surviving are four sons, W.I, TH, J.N., and S. P., of Jonesboro, three daughters Mrs. D. N. Powers, Mrs. J. N. Underwood and Mrs. J. R. Dacus, of Jonesboro; and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday afternoon at two-thirty o'clock at the Shiloh Church of which he was a member. Interment will be in charge of the Gregg Funeral Home.
