MRS POWERS
Mrs. Virginia Powers, 88, of 326 North Fisher died last night at 11:30 at her home.
She was born and spent her entire life in Craighead county and was a methodist.
Survivors include three sons, Arthur Oden, of Colton, Calif., Vernon Oden of Jonesboro and Oren Oden of Bay; a daughter Mrs. Edith Sears of Jonesboro Route 2; a sister Mrs. Eliza Underwood of Thayer, Mo.; a brother, John Lindley of Wynne; 19 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at Shiloh Methodist Church, but date and time are incomplete. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery with Farmers' Union Funeral Home in charge.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at Shiloh Methodist Church for Mrs. Virginia Powers, 88 of Jonesboro who died Tuesday. Rev. Bill Odom and Rev. J. B. Harris will officiate.
Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery with Farmers Union Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers will be Jess Beck, Marvin Cole, Lester Crawford, Bud Underwood, Owen Bunch and Raymond Holt.
