Omer and Edith Sears lived in the Craighead county area most of their life. They spent a short time in California and went back to Arkansas where they spent the rest of their lives. They had 3 children, 12 grandchildren, 18 plus great-grandchildren and 7 plus great=great-grandchildren. They were very much family people and had a loving family life.
Edith Sears was very much an animal lover. She would not allow any hunting on her property. She was very protective of the doves, turkeys and other wild life. She fed the Turkeys who would come up from the back field to eat in the drive way and go back out in the field.

2. Joyce Lorene Sears was born July 3, 1928 in Craighead county, Arkansas and died June 8, 1985. She married Joseph Leroy Cook. He was born December 16, 1924 and died November 7, 1993. Both are buried in Shiloh Cemetery, Craighead county, Arkansas. They had 7 children.
3. Pricilla Mae Sears was born September 19, 1930 in Craighead county, Arkansas and died January 6, 2000. She is buried in Jonesboro Memorial Cemetery, Jonesboro, Arkansas. She married Living Weston. They had 3 children.
